ABOUT
Big Orange is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to racing and rider development at the local, regional and national levels.
The club was started in 2003 when six racers left South Bay Wheelman to create a member-run team focused on the riders. Since then, our membership community has made Big Orange one of the largest, most respected clubs in So Cal due to our attitude, courtesy and respect on the road combined with the ability to win races. We are the folks who will stop and help other cyclists no matter what kit someone is wearing. Race day, however, is all business and our results speak for themselves. We compete primarily in the SCNCA region in Road, MTB, CX and Track and you will not find a more successful team throughout all the categories in So Cal.
Riders however do not need to race to join Big Orange - club membership is open to all that want to ride bikes and become a better cyclist or pursue racing. Our community includes men and women from juniors to 80+ from all walks of life. We take great pride in being more “inclusive” than the “invite only” clubs and we've always been that way - just a good group of people who like to ride and race bikes.

BOARD & OFFICERS
Big Orange is
Team Owned and the
Board and Officers are Members
We call our own shots. We decide who our sponsors will be. Our sponsors support, but do not control our team. And that support is solid, made up of local businesses that appreciate our members' efforts to be ambassadors of their brands and cycling. We recognize that team money belongs to the team to promote racing and rider development. We keep club finances transparent and discuss them at monthly board meetings which are open to all members.
